There are conventions based around tech and video games etc, its good to go to them to network. If anyone is interested, i can give some more examples of that.
Also look up individual companies websites for their internship/entry lvl jobs. Find ones whose style closely matches…

@HMalas great tips for professionals looking for jobs within any creative tech area. I would add the below from my experience:
– Have your own website, even a simple WordPress site with your portfolio there. You can have your digital resume on your website too.

This is great, these tips definitely helped me start out as well. I even submitted my CV to companies that didn’t have openings but I really liked or aligned with. It may just so happen that they don’t yet have a person with a particular skill set you may have but they’re keen to look into!

@imnotsana wonderful suggestion and thanks for the feedback. We can rename the group name from “Tech Designer Hub” to “Creative Tech” which can be inclusive of many roles around tech. If we get the right demand, we can create sub-groups as well with more narrowed titles and niches.
Using the discussion feature is also a good way to branch out…

Thanks @Ahmed I appreciate the help while I try to navigate this intuitive site! Might I suggest either changing the name to be more inclusive or creating a new one to something like Creative Tech as there’s more to the Games Industry than just Designer roles. Keen to hear thoughts of others!

What are your fav design tools? For me, when designing websites, I use WordPress + Elementor + Photopea and other collab tools like Miro. 💻
