Next month, the 18th there is the Arab Film Festival and a networking event afterwards. The networking event is free to attend even if you don’t go to the festival.

I will be driving to Detroit (where it’s located) Saturday morning with my assistant director Moe Diab and we’re clocking in at a hostel that I stayed at before back in 2018. Its the cheapest lodgings in the city as far as I’m aware. And i liked it when i stayed before but it might not be for everyone’s comfort level. And then going to the festival and networking event that night and going back home Sunday.

If anyone wants to carpool/join and help chip in gas from Chicago. Its a 4hr drive. And i can give you the link to the hostel to rent your bed for the night if you want to stay there.

It goes on all week, you can watch virtually online or in person. Its at the Arab American museum in Dearborn/Detroit, MI

And like I said, the networking event for film makers etc is afterwards and free on that Saturday night.
