Professionally, I am a graphic designer and creative strategist specializing in print layout, digital graphics, branding, and more, whose clients include non-profits and small businesses. I am also an artist whose creative work often centers around themes of contested space and the reclamation of narrative and history, with a focus on the Palestinian diaspora. I have an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as a BFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

I serve on the all-volunteer committee for the Chicago Palestine Film Festival, the longest running Palestinian film festival in the world.
